Zug, Switzerland – GCE Medical, an ESAB Corporation brand, launched the industry’s first full global offering of medical gas control equipment and technologies 29 January – 2 February at the Arab Health Medical Expo (GCE Medical Booth H1.CO1) at the Dubai World Trade Centre. GCE Medical includes quality-proven products from GCE Healthcare, Ohio Medical, Amvex and Therapy Equipment Ltd. This comprehensive line of gas equipment is the first to meet compliance standards from around the world for an encompassing list of gas control needs including central gas systems, suction and oxygen therapy, valves and high-pressure regulators, source gas equipment, ambulance gas systems and cylinder equipment, and homecare solutions.
“We are proud to prioritize safety within all our brands – on a global scale – by adhering to regulatory standards in all the markets we serve. For example, these include European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR) and global quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018 and 13485:2016,” says Christian Borrie, Director – NPI, Key Accounts and Marketing Communications GCE Medical. “The EU MDR provides a regulatory framework that ensures a high level of safety and reliability for all medical devices sold in the EU. All of GCE Medical’s products comply with these stringent regulations. In addition, the size of our company and the breadth of knowledge within our base will provide our customers with ease, reliability, quality and most importantly – peace of mind.”
During the Arab Health Medical Expo, GCE Medical also introduced its newest product from its GCE Healthcare line of medical manifolds, the Duplex PNP50. A two-stage manifold with a third source entry point, this medical gas source for hospital pipelines reduces the gas pressure in two steps to a constant distribution pressure. The Duplex PNP50 also features a new and innovative touch screen alarm that shows all three gas sources in one view. Available for 300 bar, 200 bar or 150 bar cylinders, it is suitable for all medical gases, comes with an automatic changeover system and is globally compliant (complete with proper paperwork).
GCE showcased product lines from each of its brands. Some of the key products on display at the GCE Medical booth included:
- GCE Medivital® E: cylinder valve and integrated pressure regulator for use with all medical gases, ensures continuous oxygen deliver, constant easy to read monitoring with a live display, remote monitoring available, allows for patient mobility.
- Ohio Medical Push-To-Set™ Suction Regulators: preferred vacuum regulator choice for maximum performance, high quality and minimal maintenance. Silent, patented unilogic timing module provides reliable intermittent and continuous modes for suctioning.
- Therapy Equipment Diamond Range Suction Unit: manufactured from high strength plastics and colour-coded level recognition for easy use. Comes with an integral Pipeline Protector for 100% guaranteed protection against contamination – changes to pink to alert when the filter needs changing.

Together it will provide the most intuitive and reliable products, expertise from decades of industry experience, a profound knowledge of pressurized gas equipment technology and a total global presence and compliance to cover every facet of medical gas control.
